hi bloggers! we just returned home from a fun weekend in cincinnati for the stampaway convention. the trip began with flights to columbus and a quick road trip to cincinnati. we spent the first day with a little shopping, some good eats, and of course a stop at “graeters” for the best ice cream ever! that night we got set up for my workshops which started the next morning with lots of boxes to unpack. friday was a full day of workshops to 300 students for “the artful journal” and “timeless trinkets” – everyone did a great job!
after class we headed to the convention center for a preview party that night where there is a costume theme which this year was “prom night” so the stampers anonymous crew, lead by their fearless leaders mrs. & mrs. stampers anonymous, embraced the theme with a hillbilly prom – one word…hysterical. congrats to them for winning first prize in the contest!
saturday was a full day of demos in the stampers anonymous booth where i got to demo using my new release stamps. then just like that, the whirlwind weekend was over since stampaway is only a one-day show. thanks to all of the attendees who joined the fun, thanks to all of the students who signed up for the workshops, and thanks to my stampers anonymous family for always doing an amazing job and working so hard. now i’m back in the studio for a busy week ahead – i love every minute of it too…t!m
