it’s so good to be inspired. i’m always asked "what inspires me???" – well everyday life really. i’m often inspired by architecture, fashion, home decor, colors, textures, and lots of inspiration from reading blogs (guilty pleasure), and thumbing my way through magazines…
one of my most favorite magazines is domino. it’s this very simple, very eclectic magazine filled with everything that i find inspiring. well in my latest issue i came across this very small ad that caught my eye. it was simply put "buy it now" and of course that definitely got my attention. it’s for a new collection at target (love that store) by designer john derian. now to be honest, i have not heard of this guy before so i tore out the ad (i was flying home from jersey at the time) and decided to do a little research online when i got home…
so can i just say – AMAZING! simply inspiring, love the look, the story, the shop – next time i’m in NY i am so there! check out this great article about john derian and find out for yourself what makes this guy tick. his designs normally sell from the $50 to $100’s, but he has a collection coming out at target on september 7th – seriously??? i don’t have any idea what he is actually releasing as information on the target website is vague and online searches show nada, but i am all about the thrill of the hunt anyways so i am looking forward to checking everything out.
