hi bloggers… well i’m back in the wonderful pines of prescott, az. enjoying the monsoon’s – have to say i love it! have lots of ideas spinning in my head since returning from my week at ranger and it’s great that i have over a week to spend in my studio. i’ll be finishing class samples for my upcoming store visits, working on the september technique challenge, and just getting a chance to play.
speaking of play – before i left for NJ i took a quick trip to downtown prescott with a friend of mine – it’s filled with antique shops in our downtown setting and i love to check them out once in a while. well we only spent a couple of hours total going from shop to shop when i came across this treasure: it’s an antique file cabinet complete with vintage hardware and yes, metal lined drawers – how perfect is this in my studio?
so i’m off to explore what creative ideas today will bring, get my hands full of ink and every other medium they are accustomed to being coated with, and just taking in a little studio time in – enjoy today…t!m
