the “12 tags” decade…

tagshappy 2017!!! as we embark on a new year many of us reflect on the past while setting goals for the future…

for the last 10 years my blog has been a platform for me to share technique tutorials with you through the “12 tags” series.  it’s been an incredible adventure of discovering new ideas combined with the excitement of seeing how they will been interpreted by you.  now 120 tags later, i have decided to bring this series to a close challenging me to seek out new ways to inspire…

while it’s bittersweet, it’s also important to remember these tutorials will continue to have a home here on the blog via the links on the sidebar.  2016 certainly proved re-mixing any of these techniques can create unlimited possibilities…

i have many exciting things in 2017 including new products being released, new techniques to explore, and new teaching events planned.  i’m looking forward to sharing all of this with you by focusing on more Facebook LIVE events, videos on YouTube, photos on instagram, and innovative projects here on the blog (i’m sure there will be a tag or two in the mix)…

so a very sincere thanks for being part of the “12 tags” decade.
here’s to continuing the creative journey ahead…t!m

Thank you for a fabulous decade of inspiration… Since I’ve only been crafting for less than half that time, I can go back and play with the early years so that I don’t suffer withdrawal symptoms! Very much looking forward to following where your adventures take you next, and I hope that 2017 will be a fantastic year for you and Mario.

It’s a few days after your announcement. I have to say I feel kind of lost. I didn’t always post a tag, but I always thought about it and thought about the techniques. I didn’t realize how much I would miss this challenge.

So Tim, I have to say I really miss you and eagerly await whatever the next step is, because it’s lonely in craft blogland without the tags. Please hurry.

I’m sad to see the 12 tags go, but I understand. I’ve been following along since almost the very beginning of the tags. Sometimes I’d create the same tags or a slightly different version or just use one of the techniques you’d showcased on your tag. I’d share my inspiration from you with my other crafty friends and they would also fall in love with your ideas and creativity. Your tags always pushed me to go further into exploring the media, whatever it might have been. I love all of your products and use them consistently and I appreciate your generosity sharing your products, and so much more with us! Looking forward to see what new things you have in store for us!

  28. Ame says:

  30. Annette Reed says:

I’m very sorry to see that you are no longer doing the tags. I had just started doing them and was planning on trying to all of them this year. I guess I have ten years worth to try though. I can’t do Facebook live things because I work and I don’t have internet access at home except through my phone but I wish you all the good fortune that life will bring. I appreciate the inspiration and look forward to learning what I can from you.

  31. Jenny says:

Congratulations on your 10 year Artiversary! You and your art are such an inspiration 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing your mind with us! I love that you use products (aka arty treasures) for more than just the one thing they’re “labeled” as and remixing techniques to create even more 😀 I’m looking forward to seeing more of your amazing art (and not just as tags!).
