well bloggers here it is saturday night and it's hard to believe i woke up early this morning, taught an all day workshop in payson, az. and here i am back at home to sleep in my own bed! what a way to wrap up the teaching year i must say. it was a wonderful day up in payson teaching for paper & metal scrappers which is the coolest store up there jam packed with so many different product lines and adorned in vintage goodness! our event was held close by the store tucked away in the pines with plenty of room for the students to create all day long. this was the final workshop for "artful curio" where students not only learned techniques on collage, assemblage, and distressing, but they were surrounded by enough vintage trinkets and ephemera to use all they could imagine! a sincere thank you to my wonderful students for sharing such an inspiring day today. also, thank you to the owners of paper & metal scrappers brenda & barb for their hospitality and tireless work to make this event happen…
