happy 4th of july bloggers! i don’t know about you, but it’s something about organization that seems to recharge my creativity. you know, going through everything and discovering things you already have that you might have "tucked" away for that special project – sound familiar? well every time i get home from a long trip on the road, i always have so many things to unpack, mail to go through, shipments to open up – it’s a chance to get everything put away and start with a clean working area (relatively speaking…).
i have to say i’m so charged up this weekend creating things – i can’t wait to start sharing! thanks to so many of you for the nice comments on my blog – some of them made me laugh out loud too. a couple of you commented on the shirt i was wearing…very savvy of you to notice that yes, it is the same as the photo on the sidebar. actually i have several photos in that series because to be honest, that was my first and only photo shoot ever! it happened a while back when CK sent out this amazing photographer skylar nielsen to my studio for a shoot. he was here for hours clicking away and it was really a fun day. the guy was so cool he sent me all of the photos on disc to have. so, not being one to photograph myself much, it’s good to have these around just in case.
