{PEGGY SWEENY}
today’s product: Melt Art
what is melt art? well, it a very innovative and unique product line that Ranger and designer Suze Weinberg have teamed up to bring you. there are many aspects of this vast line including appliances, thick embossing powders, colorants, and more. there is so much to know, learn, and create with Melt Art that to be honest, it’s difficult to put into words. it’s one of those things that once you try it, you’ll be hooked. let’s check out the components in this versatile product category…
–UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamels), these course granule embossing powders melt to a thicker consistency than regular embossing powders. available in a variety of colors, you can use them with a heat tool or melting pot appliance.
–To Dye For, colorants specially formulated for high temperatures that can be mixed into the melted UTEE for translucent and vibrant colors
–Kool Toolz , high temperature resistant tools to use with the Melt Art. the tools are comprised of a spatula and tweezer spoon
–Mold n’ Pour, a 2 part mold making compound which allows you to create a mold from just about anything in minutes
–Melting Pot, what i consider to be the "universal crafting appliance" this pot has a variable temperature control which allows you to set it at various temperatures for melting embossing powders, wax, soap, and more.
-Melt UTEE on to chipboard in multiple layers using a heat tool and press a rubber stamp into the hot (yes hot) embossing powder. allow to cool and carefully remove the stamp for a recessed textured image.
-Melt UTEE in a melting pot and pour into a mold created from Mold n’ Pour. remove the object from the mold for an accent, embellishment, or jewelry piece.
–Beeswax can also be melted in the melting pot along with polymer clay (for baking), and shrink plastic.

Here’s the thing about paint dabbers…. I was like you, Tim, didn’t really care about using paint. Then I bought just two colors of the dabbers and I’m hooked. Sometimes I use them as the main feature on a card and other times just as a added feature. Either way I LOVE the effect.
Have a good day and thanks for all you do to help us be more creative.
