what a great time scrapfest 2013 was. my sincere thanks to all of my students for making me proud and being amazing with each and every one of you finishing the project and being so much fun. thanks also to mario, patti, colleen, michelle, terry and the great archivers team in the rotunda for working so hard to make sure everything went perfect. it was a tough schedule to set up for nearly 60 students in each class with only 15 minutes in between to clean up and set up for the next group, but we did it for all 4 classes – whew!!!
i have to say teaching in the mall of america certainly can be intimidating, even after teaching there for 10 years now. i mean check out this perspective of teaching to a group of 60 students in the middle of a 4 story mall – crazy right? luckily i have every single step projected on the huge jumbo-tron so the students can see it all and enjoy creating. i also demoed each day in front of the archiver’s store to share the latest sizzix, idea-ology, and ranger products (thanks to all of you who showed up to learn all you could). then in less than 72 hours we were back on a plane and heading home. thanks for another great year at scrapfest everyone…t!m
