hi bloggers and greetings from sunny florida! we just finished our last store teaching weekend of the year here at sHE scrapbooks and what a way to wrap things up! we were planning to fly home before turning around to fly back out to florida for a rep show next friday, but instead decided to stay the week in florida and enjoy a little well deserved disney time. so, that means i won’t be posting the october tag until next week when i’m back in my studio (sorry). all that being said, i would like to say a huge thank you to the sHE girls: steph, yvonne, sherry, colleen, and of course breanna, who were such a hard working team to make this event go perfectly – heck, we even made the local sunday newspaper…
the store is located in the villages here in florida, and i have to say this is a very cool place to be – check out this view from our hotel, awesome…
the excitement was in full swing on day one as the happy students lined up outside ready to get inky. i decided i must continue with my mission to remind them it was sHE scrapbooks if only for the weekend…
i want to thank all of the students who shared in the fun this weekend. there were lots of laughs, creative ideas shared, and several very thoughtful students shared gifts with mario and i including tags (thanks ATTgroup), mickey pins, crazy alligator stuff, and literally a pile of starbucks cards – thank you all so much…
as the weekend wrapped up, there were many helping hands to pile everything up to pack up and ship back to the studio to get cleaned, sorted, and all of my used teaching supplies of inks, paints, stamps, and papers get donated to my local schools in arizona every year – i love doing that. hope you enjoy your week and i’ll be sure to share some disney highlights with all of you too…t!m
