geez bloggers – this blogging only once a week is getting ridiculous! the hours in my days and days in my weeks seem to fly by without giving me a chance to catch up. it's been another mad crazy week starting off with a visit to hsn. thanks to all of you who tuned in to watch the creative madness. they made a great set for me with huge idea-ology posters and vintage trinkets to decorate the tables (i seriously wanted those posters for my studio).
after spending less than 24 hours in florida we were on a flight that night heading to new jersey to spend the week at ranger. unfortunately with a delayed flight, we managed to get in to newark just after 2:30am and completely exhausted! we arrive at ranger later in the morning to a list of to-do's, meetings, product testing, etc. i always love being at ranger and seeing everyone there. the place was buzzing with production of distress inks, distress stains, and many other ranger products. i'm telling you i never stop being fascinated by how these products are made right in the new jersey ranger factory – so cool.
we packed up a trailer at ranger and hit the road with a 4 hour drive up to boston for a weekend rep show for retailers. i taught a total of 4 workshops on distress, perfect pearls, claudine hellmuth studio line, melt art, and as if that wasn't enough to fill the day, finished it off with a 3 hour make & take frenzy! nothing like a nice 13 hour day to get your creative energy going right? i must say though that getting to spend the weekend with good friends made it all worthwhile. the next day of the event was a mini trade show for stores to check out all of the new products that debuted at the cha show.
then we were off to the airport again for the flight home to get some things done around the studio here (including a chance to blog…). we're flying out again on wednesday for our return visit to the most amazing place in the world – south africa. i'm sure i'll have a little something more to blog about before i get on the plane wednesday, i've been working on that too. until then, thanks for hanging in there bloggers i've been missing you too…t!m
