hi bloggers! well all the details are confirmed, the samples are made, and the plans are well underway for my very first "holtz holiday festival". i received numerous requests over the years to teach a holiday event, and well i listened… i will be teaching 2 full days for this holiday extravaganza – 6 classes total – with projects ranging from mini books, jewelry, and mixed media to home decor projects. plus let’s not forget the techniques, you’ll learn everything from distressing, crackle paints, beeswax collage, and masking – to painting with alcohol inks, working with grungeboard and all things idea-ology. i’ve been gathering numerous holiday treasures, vintage items, and nostalgic ephemera throughout the year to incorporate in these projects. the supplies are limited and so are the spaces available for each class – i am teaching this event on the east coast and west coast at two great store locations…

The Stamp Art Shoppe on the west coast will be the final store visit of 2008 for me, and what better way to end the year than teaching this event.
