bigz: of course these beauties are going to perfect for holiday cards, scrapbook pages, canvas, and most definitely configurations. i thought i would start things off with my all time favorite die of this entire release, and i think this one is going to be one of those hard to find dies this holiday season – especially once you see what it does! introducing tattered pine cone…this die actually cuts a dimensional mini pine cone! if you loved the organic look of the tattered floral and tattered leaves dies, this pine cone and juniper is a must have. whether you're cutting grungepaper, kraft core, or perhaps sticky back canvas, this one will amaze you. they say a picture is worth a thousand words so i'll just let the sample and how-to pics speak for themselves…
now for more bigz dies this release – i love the styling of the vintage noel and 25 just perfect for coating with stickles or glass glitter. the classic lamppost with holly cluster is a great set to embellish with so many things hanging from this post. finally the grungy look of the holly branch and leaves to create a large wreath or even a garland. so many possibilities since these bigz cut lots of different materials…
i had to add another mover & shaper carved ornament die to go with last years. the versatility of the shaper base and all of the fun mover words to add to these just makes me happy…
of course more mover words. i received numerous requests for peace and noel so i just had to add these and i'm glad i did…
mini movers & shapers: i hope you've been having fun with these little dies. i often think of them as mini anywhere punches! since they are steel rule you can cut grungeboard, chipboard, fabric and more with them. their tiny size is perfect for cards, atc's, and even applique accents. this tall pines and holly set will be great to add that festive touch to your next project. the stylish reindeer and classic 25 is also just the right size to use just about anywhere…
okay so maybe these next ones aren't 100% seasonal but i couldn't wait any longer to make these popular designs into minis – can you blame me? the mini jalopy is "adorable" (and you know i don't use that word often…or ever), but it is. it also pairs up perfectly with the tall pine tied to the rooftop. next up is the mini sewing room mover & shaper which fits in the configurations boxes like it was meant to be – actually it was…
how about mini snowflakes? i think it was more important to have these be movers & shapers so you can add cut out snowflakes to this year's holiday cards. how about this new on the edge die though? this distressed doily is by far the most detailed die i've designed so if you decide to cut thicker things like grunge, there will be lots of picking to do later (but it's totally worth it.). create the ultimate doily edge on your cards, tags, and mini books – such a cool look…
decorative strips: and the list goes on…see i told you there was lots to see. this release of three new decorative strip dies which are designed for cardstock only, is perfect to create festive garlands, ornate trim work with the vintage lace, or that letter to santa with the random font of alphabetical. these are going to be so versatile…
texture trades and fades: wrapping things up today with a set of texture fades for the holidays with the great word background that of course has a matching stamp from stampers anonymous as well. the new border folders included with this set will ber perfect for add that touch of seasonal trimming. the texture trades for the holidays have lots of smooth space which are perfect for the new seasonal reflections stamps too. see i told you – too many ideas…
