whew! alright bloggers today is the final day for my sizzix alterations previews. what a week it's been sharing all of the new products i've designed for this line. these new releases begin shipping in february with a split release in march, april, and may – in other words, they are not all shipping at once. this is much better for me to have time to create and share ideas for each release with you! now for today's preview it starts out with the continuation of my addiction to texture fades. if you're an embossing folder user and you've not tried these before, you're missing out on the deepest, most distressed embossing folders around that you can use on grungeboard, chipboard, canvas, metal and more (of course cardstock too). these new texture fade sets include:
– "pocket watch & steampunk" clock and gear lovers unite…
– "frame & postale" a great distressed frame complimented by the fade that matches my postale stamp…
– "fancy & floral frames" a bit of shabby elegance to the texture fade collection…
– "pattern & stitches" a cool sewing pattern with 3 individual hand-stitch border fades – very cool…
next up is something brand new to the alterations line – "texture trades"! that's right…trades! i received so many emails when i first posted the new artist trading card bigz die on monday since it says use with texture trades. no, it's not a typo, just something a little different. my love for tags has clearly influenced by new love for artist trading cards (ATC for short). if you are not familiar with these a google search will educate and inspire you to try your creative hand at these miniature works of art sized 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". my new ATC die is a movers & shapers! that means you can use the new mini movers & shaper dies in them to create cut outs, or these NEW texture trades to add an embossed element. the texture trades are sized for ATCS with smaller images, some with space for stamping, and are sold 3 in a set instead of 2. these have been so fun to work with not just on ATC's, but on smaller tags too. let the inspiration continue. more product previews on monday – have a great weekend everyone…t!m
– "artful muse" some stamp favorites including the old car, umbrella man, and mini gears…
– "poker face" of course what card set would be complete without some edgy playing card textures…
– "french connection" flourishes, wings, and postage oh my!…
– "playing games" no doubt this mini bingo card, rays, and admit ticket will be a new favorite…
