happy monday bloggers! yes, a happy monday indeed as things are finally back to normal around the studio. i was happy that i had this past weekend to get caught up everything and lucky for me the inspiration hit right away (thank goodness). it’s weird that even with such a creative job, deadlines can really consume my creativity sometimes. so once the emails and paperwork were caught up on, i immersed myself in inks, paints, embellishments, papers, and just focused on the creative process. i reminded myself to not stress over the deadlines, but instead “enjoy the journey”. that was really the trick, to just be creative without expectations, and it happened – like magic. today i still have a table full of supplies, a pile of finished projects, with just one more to complete to send them off. thanks for the kind words of encouragement on the blog this weekend – it’s amazing what 2 days of uninterrupted time can do…
