hey bloggers! hope you had a great weekend. we’re back in the studio enjoying some creative time and i wanted to share this link to something good. the devastation that the people of Japan have experienced is unimaginable. in the face of such tragedy, the best of humanity comes forth with efforts to find unique ways to help. several artists including myself have teamed up to raise money for this cause and our one-of-a-kind works can be seen and purchased here at crescendoh. thank you to all the artists who participated to try in our own way to do something good…t!m
UPDATE: just wanted to share my sincerest appreciation and thank you to to gloria alexander (ATT group owner) for purchasing my custom piece of artwork for this cause. i have already contacted gloria to personally thank her and share the story of this piece i created using ephemera i personally collected when i was in japan: the 11 symbolizes the date of this tragedy, the pocketwatch should be set for 2:46 the time of the tragedy, and the message along the bottom is a reminder that even in times of severe hardships, we must hold on to HOPE. i am humbled beyond words…
