hey there bloggers! hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend. i had a great time being around family and friends, and of course doing what i love…creating and staying busy! as you know things have been a little crazy around the studio all year long, and right into december with the 12 tags of christmas. of course right after the tags i did take time for a little disney getaway. since then, i jumped right back into things working away in the studio. with cha right around the corner, there are samples to be made, booths to be designed, workshops to be created, and of course a serious deadline that had to be met…
so what's with the blue hands? well i have been up to my elbows in inks, paints, sprays, stamps, embellishments – basically you name it, i was making something with it. i've been working like a mad man this past week to finish up the next volume of compendium. that's right, "a compendium of curiosities vol.II" will be released at cha-winter next month. just like the first volume, this one is the same format of not being a traditional "how to make" book, but more of a creative field guide. so for those of you who wished that many of the ideas i share in my videos, blog tutorials, and tag techniques were all in one place – well, that's what these books are all about. it's also filled with new ideas, tips, and techniques and i'm so excited to finally have it finished and can't wait to share it with you!
for now, i still have plenty of cha things to take care of, but at least i can catch my breath – so relieved…t!m
*update: i've already received emails about "pre-ordering" a signed copy from me. i will be offering that here once i have books in hand to sign, and will post about it on the blog when i do – thanks!
