welcome to district market…

District1
well bloggers we're ready for the debut of my new district market collection here at the stationery show in new york.  i'm thrilled to finally be able to share this with all of you.  i must say it's been a dream of mine to create finished products for the stationery, home decor, and gift market and this launch is only the beginning…

this first release of the district market collection contains products inspired by my idea-ology craft line starting with printed note card sets which include heavy-weight kraft stock cards complete with kraft envelopes enclosed in a windowed tin.  these are perfect to use for yourself or as a gift and features artwork from my lost & found, crowded attic, and seasonal paper stashes…
District2
next up is something for the home and of course your craft room – printed burlap panels.  these are not your ordinary canvas style artwork, these are burlap wrapped panels with a textured and distressed printed surface.  a totally innovative process makes these decorative accents one-of-a-kind since each one has it's own distressed characteristics…
District3
have you ever wanted a convenient little place to keep those little reminders of everyday life?  well these clever matchbook style notepads are just the thing.  with it's compact design and perforated kraft pages, these are perfect to always have with you to keep the little things in life on track…
District4
now this next product is one i'm most excited about…fabric wrapped journals!  available in both large and small, accented with metal corners, stitched cover accents, a cool exposed spiral binding, and kraft paper pages, these are perfect for jotting down those special thoughts, or being totally creative and using it for a unique art journal…
District5
for the final products in this release i'll start off with a new spin on a favorite of mine – tissue wrap.  if you love tissue tape, this one is for you!  tissue wrap is a roll containing almost 9 yards of 12" wide printed sheer tissue paper in a convenient box with a cutting blade (just like plastic wrap).  since it's not adhesive backed like tissue tape you can use it for gift wrapping, collage, and so much more.  lastly, i've decided to take the advice from many of you to design tote bags.  now these aren't your typical totes since not only is the artwork something unique, but these oil-cloth styled bags are also fabric lined, contain zippered pockets and pouches inside, and feature a magnetic closure and metal feet on the bottom to make this accessory to your artful couture long lasting and timeless…

so there you have it…welcome to district market.  i look forward to continuing to design this collection of products, and hope you enjoy these elements for the everyday.  product will begin shipping early september, so check your local stores to see if they will be carrying this new line of creative inspiration – thanks again for sharing in the journey…t!m
