I hope this is a positive move forward for you, giving you more creative journey time. Like many others here, it has a strange vibe to me, and I can only hope it is good for you.

If this is what you have wished for, CONGRATULATIONS! I can see that it will give you more time to create, teach and enjoy!

  3. Don’t know what to take from this good/not-so-good??? Maybe another little release to clarify this for Tim’s MAJORLY HUGE fan base who if are anything like me are financial contributors – LOL love to purchase all his products for the quality and uniqueness that he brings to the crafting industry. Like everyone else I hope this is a positive change for you Tim.

  4. YIKES! Thats all I can say. I hope its a good thing?????

  5. Carol Prygo says:

OMG! was my first thought! But, reading all of the comments has calmed me down a bit. I’m just hoping that this is what you want, T!m. They say change is good, but I am still reeling from a change that was made for me two years ago, so I’m not so sure about that. But, you are so very talented, that you will just continue to grow and produce and we will continue to follow you, no matter where you go. We are all looking forward to seeing where your journey takes us next. The best of luck to you and Mario!

  8. Nancy Walker says:

I cant believe it has been 14 years since we first met at CHA, the second year of my teaching scrapbook classes at conventions. You gave me some non-stick craft sheets to use in my stamping for scrapbooks classes! I have never forgotten your generosity. Then the great weekend in 2005 at Ranger U will always be a great educational memory for me! Thank you for your influence in all our artsy/craftsy lives. I hope this move will be positive in your career.

  9. marci piraro says:

I am wondering what this really means, also. I have wo dered why Ranger got rid of the beautiful Adirondack colors for the new one dimensional bright colors. I think it is Ranger’s loss, but hopefully Tim will have more time for other things.

  10. […] most recently the Creative Director of Ranger Ink for the past 14 years. On October 3rd at 1Am, he posted the same press release– with the tile of “The Journey Continues.” However, what was conspicuously absent […]

Many blessings on your continued journey Tim. I know we will continue to see great things from you. I don’t know if you remember me brome CM at the beginning of your journey. But I remember meeting you and Mario and transporting you and helping you set up/clean up after classes. I knew then you would have many years of great success in this industry. I enjoyed those days! Enjoy your journey. Carry on!!

  22. Tim congrates now you can create much more and we will be the winnners in this – hope all is well for you

  23. Lynne Smith says:

Not sure this is a good thing or a bad thing. But wherever Tim goes I go. I am loyal to him……not Ranger.

  24. Is this something you planned? Will you still travel to shows? I met you in Chicago years ago and seen you in Novi MI a few times. My sister Cindy of Ocala FL raves of how you answer her comments. I hope I will continue to see you and wish you the very best in this new venture. The journey continues Tim!! Your fans love you!!

  25. Ramona says:

I imagine Tim and Mario actually relaxing, having a Starbucks and enjoying the good life.

    • Alice Adler says:

Ramona, you and me both. Mario cooking up a storm and T!m crafting up a storm. What a combo! I think they should invest in Starbucks and Disney for their future!!!! LOL! I hope that they get to go to the happiest place on earth monthly and the second happiest place on earth multiple times a day. I agree with you!!!

Best of luck in your new/old/transitioned endeavor – I know you will be successful!!!

  27. Sandy Libby says:

I am sure that there are plenty of people like me, who are waiting to hear from you (Tim) in regards to this announcement.

  28. Dolly says:

I’m hoping this just means that you have more time to play and create with your own signature line…DISTRESS and that we get to see more of you doing that which is the drive behind the growth of your own line!!
I’m sure we are all hoping this is a GREAT move for Tim, and Ranger also.
    Enjoy the journey Tim!! ENJOY

  29. Linda E says:

Life is full of mini lessons and chapters which need to move on to the next one. Just hard to believe it has been fourteen years already !!! Wow, how time flies by when you are having fun. I would just like to wish you and Mario the best in your new chapter in life. Please don’t forget those of us who love your inspiration, even if we do live in the state of NC which I am are very proud to call home. The world needs to put their focus more on being proud we live in a country with so much freedom to express ourselves. Many countries these freedoms just don’t exist. Good luck Tim, I know you will do well no matter what you decide to do next.

  30. Kim Young says:

Congrats? Glad to see I wasn’t the only one confused by the announcement, so I hope this gives you the freedom to explore and create even more cool things for us to play with!

  31. TheresaMP says:

first my heart sank and then it soared. change can be scary for the person and those affected and I just know this will allow both you and Mario time to fly. thanks as always for sharing.

  32. Piia says:

Hope this is a good thing – all the very best for you and Mario <3 And hope to see you more teaching in Europe also after this – I still haven't gotten the pleasure to attend your class and I just wish that is possible someday <3

  33. Roxanne says:

One can only take away from this, that now Tim may have that bit of extra time/space he needs to ‘grow’ more creativity and ‘fly’ more on his own. I think Ranger was very fortunate to have you grow their company. I’m sure there are only positive things coming in the future! Happy Tuesday to you! 🙂

  34. What ever you do, where ever you go, I’m there with you! Looking forward to the new leg of your journey!

  35. Inge Bekaert says:

I dont know if this is a positive or a negative announcement…

    greetings from belgium

  36. DebbieP says:

Like others have already stated, not sure how to take this as I find it a bit of a strange announcement….

  37. Vickie says:

Like everyone else, I’m confused. I’m hoping this is positive. I consider Tim to be the most innovative crafter/designer/creator out there and I buy more of his products than anyone else’s.

  38. With all the others I hope that this will be a positive and life affirming development for you Tim. Wishing you and Mario much joy and wherever your creative journey leads you, I will gratefully and happily follow. Thank you for so generously sharing your time and talents with us all xo

  39. Good for you! Focus on what you love and continue the path of your creativity. I am very proud to be a Holtzaholic and continue to be. Congratulations and well done for choosing what is best for you. Lots of crafting love from Holland xoxox

  40. Brenda Brown says:

Wow, new steps, new directions and I am sure new innovations to come. Wishing you much luck on your continuing journey wherever that may take you and looking forward to wherever that might take us too. I am sure there are exciting times ahead. Huge hugs xxx

  41. Hope this is a win win for everyone! Can’t wait to see what’s to come!

  42. Lyn says:

I hope this is what you want Tim. It’s all rather confusing

  43. Beth Williams says:

I’m hoping this means Tim will have a chance to slow down and enjoy his favorite place more often. If not-than pooh on Ranger.

  44. Hmmm……. this is interesting. Congrats!! I guess. It will be interesting to see what the next steps in the journey are going to be, and where it will take you.

  45. You never cease to inspire and amaze me and I am excited to see what your future holds.

  46. Robin Hanning says:

To quote Sheldon… Curiouser and curiouser!

  47. Theresa Grdina says:

Huh. If Tim’s happy, I’m happy.

  48. Linda Robison says:

I don’t get it? This is a huge announcement but talks in circles and ends up saying nothing????

  49. paula says:

This I know…where ever the road leads, I’m right behind you.

  50. Cindy Flynn says:

Mixed reaction, I hope this is the path you want to follow. Good luck and must success on this creative path!
