thank you buffalo….

All

well bloggers i honestly don't know how to express into words the gratitude i have for everyone who joined the fun at buffalo stamps & stuff this past weekend.  thank you buffalo!  sharon, mark, and her amazing crew and friends provided the perfect weekend to host our creative adventures.  the students seemed to come from far and wide to take the workshops and it was truly a great experience.  the classes were such fun to teach, the students were so creative with their projects, and the vibe was pure artful goodness.  the food was prepared and provided daily by the lovely, genuine, and talented dimitra who made the most delicious greek lunch for us all..yum!  and what can i say about the store – buffalo stamps & stuff?  how about one of a kind…filled with just about anything you could let your creative curiosities imagine and adorned through and through with antiques and vintage treasures that made me go crazy.  so crazy in fact, that on day 2 of classes we were up at 5:00am to hit one of their local flea markets before the classes started that morning.  let me just say that it was well worth it…vintage books, a suitcase, sewing box, alarm clock, and other eclectic trinkets were found.  of course that just set the tone for our final class of patchwork – the infamous grunge quilt!  this has been one of my most popular classes, and truth be told, the most difficult to prep ever and required just about every tool, ink, and embellishment i could possibly bring.  so time consuming that the class has been officially retired at this store never to be taught again, and my last group of students did not disappoint!  what an inspiring journey – between the journal book, the idea-ology wearble projects, the dimensional grungebook, and the colorful patchwork, my weekend in buffalo was simply the best.  thank you all once again…t!m
