sydney adventures…

hi bloggers!  we’ve been having an amazing time here in sydney.  we actually had a few days off to enjoy australia, see the sights, and most definitely enjoy the journey.  our good friend rachel greig and her husband stewart (owners of darkroom door stamps here in oz) were so kind to offer to take us around to see the sights of sydney.  we went to coogee beach, bondi beach, and then headed into sydney to enjoy my first ever meat pie at the famous “harry’s cafe de wheels” complete with potatoes & mushy peas.  we also took a ferry ride through sydney harbor to luna park to check out this iconic amusement park and watch the sunset with the sydney opera house and harbor bridge as a awesome backdrop…

however the highlight was most definitely climbing the sydney harbor bridge…

oh yes, our group of 10 took the 3+ hour bridge climb adventure to climb over 1500 steps to the top of the sydney harbor bridge – what an incredible experience, and spectacular views of sydney!  the group included myself, mario, rachel, stewart, alain from ranger, his 3 wonderful sisters who traveled to sydney to join the fun, and chad and nicole from stamp-it our aussie distributors.  i’m telling you it was something i will never forget!

so for the next couple of days i demo at the craft show here in sydney before teaching this weekend to another 250 students, and i can’t wait.  having a great time in a land down under…t!m

So glad you are getting to ‘enjoy the journey’. It was such a full on start to your trip (plane issues etc) in Brissy and i’m glad you have been able to have a look around while you are here. It would have been a shame not to experience some of the awesome possibilities our beautiful country has to offer.

Just dropping back in to enjoy your adventure!!

  10. Sometimes I contemplate if folks truly take time to publish something original, or are they only just dishing out words to fill a site. This certainly doesn’t fit that mold. Thank you for taking the time to write with awareness. From Time To Time I look at a page and question whether they even proofread it.Fantastic work with this article.

I was so amazed and delighted to be in your class on the 18th in Sydney ( silly girl in second row who burn herself on the heat gun 3Xs…oh DOH and, who has now just told the whole world! LOL) Anyway I just wanted to say Thankyou. Thank you for coming down under… thankyou for being such an awesome, entertaining and delightful teacher !!! As well as your amazing knowledge, your friendly approachable attitude was what made the day. I learnt heaps and am looking at Ranger products of allsorts, as new “must haves” in my crafty tool box. I had to travel over 500 hundred km to attend your class but I certainly “enjoyed the journey” of a lifetime!!! Thanks!

Someday I would love to go to Australia. Out of all the places in the world I have looked at in magazines, books and on line it seems to appeal to me the most. The rocks, the water, the building structures look amazing. It would be about the most spectacular dream vacation on earth. HOPE you enjoy every single bit.
