sneak peek: sizzix alterations halloween…

HALLOWEENhard to believe that in the middle of summer it’s already time to start planning the holiday season. as a designer it’s even more difficult to grasp the fact that i actually started designing it back in february? i know for some, the holidays can’t come soon enough, but ready or not, the seasonal product will start making it’s way to the stores later this month. first up is new sizzix alterations halloween release shipping the end of july which gives you plenty of time to create those creepy crafts…

it’s no secret i love halloween – the earthy color palette, the grunged decor, and let’s not forget the candy! halloween is a fun time to dress up in costume, decorate the house, and get ready for trick or treaters so these new thinlits halloween words: thin are perfect for adding your favorite wicked words to party favors, cards and more. the new thinlit gothic gate is perfectly detailed and would look eerily incandescent wrapped around a battery tea light for a glowing party favor…

if you’re wanting a ghoulish way to spookify your projects, these new thinlit edge dies will do the trick. the drip and twisted edges can accent cards, scrapbook pages and more leaving the amount of border totally up to you…

embrace your inner altered artist with the new mixed-media halloween thinlits featuring three devious designs to layer with. or if your creative mind wanders like the walking dead, this new zombie bigz die will certainly inspire your imagination that even the most cryptic corpse can craft the night away…

texture is also a must for any season so i’ve added this single new damask texture fade with frightfully fine detailing to even use year round…

are you ready for my favorite of the halloween releases??? it’s the new village manor. if you’ve been having fun building your villages, there’s a new haunt in town ready to construct or deconstruct. designed to work with the main village dwelling, this new manor takes creativity to new heights (literally) by adding a second story to the house featuring a mansard roof, gothic doorway, tattered windows, a rickety fence and more. creep it up with shingles and shakes from the village rooftop die and you’ve got endless paranormal possibilities…

well i hope you’ve enjoyed this peek of the new sizzix alterations halloween releases shipping the end of july.  i’ll be back later today to share the new sizzix alterations christmas so you better watch out…t!m
