i have some exciting news to share just in time for the festive fall season – new distress paint colors!  ranger has just release 6 new distress paint colors to coordinate with the wonderful autumn palette of distress inks, stains, and markers you already love.  the best news is these new paints are shipping immediately to your favorite ranger retailer…

the new colors include: dusty concord, crushed olive, gathered twigs, ripe persimmon, scattered straw, and pumice stone.  i can’t wait to start using these on my seasonal projects, and i can’t wait to see what all of you create with them so how about a giveaway?  simply leave a comment on the blog sharing what new color(s) you’re most excited about and you could win a set of your very own!  winners will be announced here on the blog this friday – good luck…t!m

  6. Which of these am I most excited about? ALL of them of course. Dusty concord, because I am such a purple fan, crushed olive is my most used stain colour, for vintage leaves etc, gathered twigs scattered straw and pumice stone, are such useful neutrals, and well… ripe persimmon is so vibrant and funky. Love them all.

  7. It’s quite difficult to pick my faves when I love them all, but ripe persimmon is one of my favorite ink pads and the paint looks even brighter and happier than the ink!

    That “crushed olive” has me salivating, but “gathered twigs” is also a color that I can see myself reaching for all the time.

    Hmmm… very difficult choices to choose a favorite – but I already have a project in mind using ripe persimmon, crushed olive, dusty concord, and gathered twigs — To coordinate with a piece of vintage fabric I picked up recently and will use for a mixed media piece I’m working on.
