new 2014 products – merriment idea-ology…

as the summer sun continues to heat things up here in arizona, it’s tough to imagine the winter chill of a christmas wonderland.  nevertheless the holidays are right around the corner, and so is the release of my new products from idea-ology.  the magic of christmas is something i absolutely love, and having an assortment of products designed to capture the nostalgic of this most wonderful time of year makes holiday creativity that much more merry & bright.  so with that, i’m excited to announce that our most popular christmas collection is back for another year!  that’s right, last year’s holiday release which included: merriment paper stash, merriment tissue tape, christmastime remnant rubs, christmas word bands, christmas wishes worn covers, and of those adorable ice skate adornments, was such a huge success we’ve brought it back again this year (AVAILABLE NOW) along with some great new additions (SHIPPING IN SEPTEMBER)…

the new findings from idea-ology include some great elements to add to your christmas creations.  countdown coins include a set of 25 metal coins stamped with numbers 1 through 25 that are perfect for decorating an advent calendar, or simply adding to your creative stash of anything numbers (i’m not alone here right?).  the new tidings tokens are a crafters dream that include 24 stamped metal coins 4 each of 6 different tidings perfect for accenting your holiday cards or packages…

now if you love adding a bit of festive dimension to your projects, the new snowflake adornments are the perfect touch.  use them along with the ice skate adornments and christmas word bands to share the holiday cheer with family and friends…

the twinkling of holiday lights and the glistening of winter snow was definitely the inspiration for adding these sparkling new gumdrops.  these domed delectables add the perfect touch of nostalgic shimmer to any project, or for a more colorful touch, simply tint them with alcohol inks.  the fun of creating your own colorful custom woodlands with the release of the bulk large “tree lot” last year, continues with the addition of bulk mini trees and wreaths.  these are so easy to color with any type of sprayable ink and ideal for adding a touch of glitter to coordinate with any holiday palette…

one thing i love about designing for idea-ology is that just about any product i think up can become reality to share with you.  i have one word for this new pine twine – adorable.  this teeny-tiny wired pine is made from multi-colored pvc (same stuff as an artificial tree) that can be cut and shaped into anything.  whether you’re creating a wreath, garland,  pine twine is the perfect christmas touch of festive greens.  now if you were a fan of frosted film or like to die cut, frosted is going to be you’re new go-to surface for the holidays and beyond.  this lightly frosted, flexible light weight plastic is ideal for cutting, shaping, and even coloring.  whether you’re making gift boxes, or overlaying it on to your christmas creations, it will look like jack frost himself paid a visit…

there is no doubt i love vintage ephemera – no doubt at all.  the charming graphics and unique typography capture a moment in time that many of us treasure, especially at christmas.  the colorful vintage ornaments, lights, tinsel, and mica snow packaging have the most wonderful illustrations that are ideal for adorning just about anything…

now what would the holidays be without family?  well how about choosing your own this year?  i mean of course with the new found relatives-occasions.  i know may of you have come to love creating with these whimsical and very eclectic mix of vintage photographs from the original “found relatives” released earlier this year.  well we’ve collected photos for all seasons in found relatives-occasions that include images to use year round – oh how i love these.  another thing i love are the new mini flashcards!  these little guys measure only 1 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ and are printed double-sided with different words to use on your holiday cards, scrapbooks, journals, gifts, and much more.  the perfect way to spread a little holiday cheer…

the festive palette of shabby red and white papers mixed with the tarnished silver accent of embellishments makes this holiday line one of my favorites.  the wonderfully classic merriment paper stash, tissue tape, christmastime remnant rubs, and christmas wishes worn covers are just waiting to become part of your holiday creations.  continue to scroll down to see all of the vintage inspired designs of this paper stash that include the following sizes 12×12, 6×6, 2×2, ATC, and borders.  i’m looking forward to seeing all of the creative magic you make with this release – here’s to the happiest holiday season…t!m

Oh, I’d be happy with 10 of everything, thank you very much! Christmas is my fave and I love pretty much everything about this group of goodies. I always have an inner struggle when I use something authentically vintage in my creations, so it’s nice when there is an option for a repro to use in some cases. Love the new countdown coins and tidings tokens, flash cards, the word bands and the snowflakes. ok, everything. Thanks for them and now I must go find out where to get them.
