idea-ology sneak peek 2013 (part 2)…

ideaology2thanks to all of you who are posting comments on the blog, retweeting, and sharing on facebook about the sneak peeks.  your excitement about the new release products makes it even more exciting for me to share them!  today is part 2 of idea-ology and i have lots to share today.  first up is the new holiday collection for this release: merriment.  this festive palette of vintage red and white is layered with just the right amount of worn effects.  the mix of holiday patterns and imagery will be the perfect foundation for your holiday craft projects yet versatile enough to add your own hints of color… (scroll to the bottom of the post for a closer look at the collection)

no doubt merriment is also complemented with new tissue tapes, new remnant rubs (this time with a sheet of black AND white rubs), new worn cover as well as new word bands with festive phrases to add to your holiday creations. the assortment of new mirrored stars are wonderful for adding a sparkle to your projects.  filled with various sizes, these reflective stars can also be tinted with alcohol inks for a customized look.  new trimmings are also being introduced with the coordinating red and neutral colors, and natural textures perfect for inking too.  just like yesterday’s post there has to be a favorite for this collection and it definitely are these mini ice skates.. seriously, when you see these little guys in person you are going to flip.  they are dimensional vintage metal skates with a tiny hole in the end of the blade to hang from your projects – adorable (a word not used much by me)…

keeping with the holidays, last year’s launch of woodlands (customizable and inkable trees & wreath) created quite a buzz thanks to mario’s colorful line of trees (click here to see them).  well that certainly inspired many of you to wanted to create your own tree display, and had many asking for just the large trees.  so i’m happy to announce that in addition to having woodlands in the line, we are also introducing “tree lot” a simple pack of 5 large trees perfect for creating your own colorful holiday tree displays throughout the seasons…

next up is the release of the mini holiday paper stash.  this is an 8×8 stash of the larger 12×12 stash we’ve had in the line except this time we brightened the color palette throughout making it perfect for more colorful holiday projects (yet still with it’s vintage styling).  this mini paper stash is perfect for all year use with it’s assortment of nostalgic holiday themes including valentines, easter, springtime, americana, halloween, thanksgiving, and christmas.  a must have for cards, holiday projects, and definitely for the next product release i’m introducing below…

i would have to say that through the years, the most requested product for me to design was something to display, collect, and showcase tags – well that time is now.  introducing the NEW worn cover collection: this collection has 3 new redesigned worn covers in a new size to work with the new page pockets.  these clear pages come in 2 styles: “tags” which include single compartment page pockets to fit fully embellished #8 tags; and “assorted” which include various divided page pockets to fit journaling tickets, instagram photos, and mini collage projects.  also included in this collection is a binder punch; a simple hand punch to create perfectly spaced 2-holes to fit in the ring binders.  the addition of these items make this the ideal solution for showcasing your tags, photos, or other small art projects all within in a 5″x7″ book cover…
