hello from ranger…

hi bloggers and greetings from ranger headquarters in new jersey.  it’s been a short week here at ranger but there are so many creative things going on.  as always, everyone at ranger is busy working away with the new cha releases shipping out the door as fast as they are being made, continuing to pack and ship set after set of distress markers (seriously distress marker heaven around here), and of course some exciting things we are working on that will be coming your way soon (just sayin’)…

my week here has gone by so fast…busy, but fun.  you know, i’ve been with ranger for over 9 years and i swear it’s like “wonka” for me every single time.  whether it’s working in the lab with our chemists, to seeing distress pads coming right off the line, or getting to see new filling lines for some of the new products – it’s always exciting for me (can you tell from this photo?)…

so today we’re packed up and headed back to arizona, but a visit to ranger just wouldn’t be complete without packing a few extra things in our suitcases to share with some of you.  how about some new distress metallic stains or maybe some new rock candy distress stickles dry glitter?   just post a comment saying what your favorite ranger product is and we’ll pick some winners to announce on monday.  have a great weekend and i hope you take time to do something creative…t!m

Love everything I have tried from Ranger, but perhaps the inks or the embossing powders are used the most. Thank Tim!

  3. Jen Clark says:

Surely you cannot expect us to pick ONE favorite…but I’ll go ahead and choose Distress Ink, since I cannot create a project without it, me thinks. But moving on…I’m totally blowing up these photos, trying to discern if there’s something new, some hint, something…trying to figure out what that “insp by Suzanne may 2012” sticker on the inside of the sticker roll is for. Trying to decide if those labels are just for Distress ink refills, or for something else…definitely not the right size for the ink pads. DEFINITELY cannot wait to see what new goodies Ranger has in store for us! 🙂

    Rocky Candy glitter?!?
Oh yes! (and I just ordered Sticky Embossing powder, too!)

  6. Gotta say Distress Inks are my favorite. They are so versatile; wet, dry, layered, they are what I reach for first I have never used the Rock Candy Distress Glitter, or Metallic inks. I think this would really be a great opportunity to stretch my artistic experiences and add to my scrapbook techniques! Thanks for all the great products and creativity you and Ranger bring to our playtime 🙂

Best Ranger ‘product’ … well – it’s Tim of course. Second choice (of way to many choices) would then have to go the classic ‘must have’ Distress Pads – the ‘staple’ for all crafters … cardmakers, mixed media artists, scrapbookers, etc.

I know it’s late for the drawing, but just had to comment. I have about 15 favorites, but if I have to choose just one from all of Ranger’s products, my favorite favorite favorite would be the Earthtone inks, both alcohol and pigment. I just love those colors and have used the on everything from cards to wooden thrift store fines to glass. Next, my favorite favorites, would of course be all the things with Tim Holtz written on it. Love the photo in your post.
