eclectic elements spring quilt market 2016…

1when eclectic elements debuted in 2013 i really wasn’t sure what to expect.  i mean here i am a guy who doesn’t really sew, venturing into a world of textiles and terminology that i had no clue about.  that being said, here we are at our fourth spring market!  i’m humbled and grateful to be accepted into an industry that continues to amaze me with creativity and craftsmanship.  with the help of my talented team: paula, richele, and mario – we got right to work to set up our booth.  the floors, walls, lighting, and signage are already in place thanks to “super dave” who is our right-hand man at these markets.  now it was our job to transform this space into a vintage masterpiece of inspiration filled with props, products and projects (you can see from this photo mario took, we all do our part)…

this market we introduced the new correspondence collection (available now) which features a timeless mix of vintage postal elements.  the basic palette is a great addition to the other eclectic elements fabrics in the line…

with everything in place, the finished booth was once again a feast for the eyes thanks to the artful skills of many talented designers who bring the fabrics i design to life.  accented by vintage elements, the projects ranger from quilts and totes to clothing and home decor pieces including this fabulous chair also covered in one of the new fabrics…

also debuting at market, my new coordinating threads, zippers, and hardware from coats for eclectic elements (available in september).  there are two types of thread: “coats cotton” which is nice 30 weight sewing thread, and new “craft thread” which is a heavy 6 weight cotton thread ideal for hand stitching.  new gunmetal zippers in various colors and three lengths of 9″, 14″, and 24″ we added to the line, and an assortment of hardware including latches, buckles, and rings in antique finishes…

just wanted to thank everyone again for their support of eclectic elements – here’s to continuing the creative journey…t!m

Oh my goodness the story continues, what a wonderful collection of fabrics I wish for all, once again thank you for your genius.

  2. It all looks Amazing, Tim, Mario, Richele and Paula! I have to tell you, sometime back my daughter (26 and a busy mom herself) was at JoAnn’s and she started texting me, you won’t believe all of the cool Tim Holtz stuff!! She was looking at paper and fabric. Haha Of course I replied, Yeah, I know!!! I didn’t even know if she knew who TH was. LOL. I mean, I say your name all the time in the craft room with your dies. She loves to sew and does a litte bit of scrap booking. We collaborate wonderfully for birthday invitations, etc. And it’s so much fun. I had fun crafting with my Mom, but she lives several hours away. Katie and I live 20 minutes from each other and I baby sit for my grand daughter (4) and we all love to craft and talk crafts. It’s such a good thing! Thanks, Tim!

I am blown away with your booth. Bless you all.
The “genious creativity” just drips from those walls and creates magnificense all the way down to the ground. I believe that if I had the opportunity to stand there for a minute I would absorb something that would move me to create with much delight. Thank you for all you do.

I have to have it ALL! As a quilter, I would love to know the quilt pattern of the quilt on the wall. Or can I just have the quilt? Ha ha JK.
Thank you for all the inspiration with everything you do.
