eclectic elements fall quilt market 2017…

we’re back from the fall quilt market where the second half of my dapper collection of fabric with coats debuted (shipping now).  inspired by worn textiles of a merchant tailor with the stylish nostalgia of timeless typography, dapper captures a classic era in this new collection.  the pattern and imagery are woven together in a neutral palette with a hint of faded color to inspire the most sophisticated and eclectic creations…

in addition to dapper, the new provisions collection of grunge solids were revealed (shipping april 2018).  defined as “need materials or supplies for the journey” provisions are a palette of timeworn colors designed to coordinate and compliment the entire eclectic elements collection…

check out the replay of my facebook live video from the show floor:

the booth starts as a blank canvas but is soon filled with vintage trinkets and treasures as well as creative projects designed to tell a story and bring the entire collection to life…

be sure to check your local fabric store for eclectic elements as the new dapper & provisions collections join the existing lines of foundations, wallflower, and correspondence fabric designs.  we’d love to see what you create using eclectic elements fabric so be sure to tag #eclecticelements when posting your creations on social media so we can check them out…t!m

Wow, awesome booth, once again! I bought a few yards of your fabric when it first came out, but haven’t figured out what to do with it yet! I thought maybe a chair – an antique one to re-do in that material, but haven’t seen anything affordable or what I am thinking of. Your vests are amazing and that’s triggered another idea too, so I will have to look at some patterns to do one unique one with lots of your bling on it! Will share pics if I get it done anytime soon! Thanks for the inspiration and have fun!!!!!

This fabric is just like Lays Potato Chip’s motto “Betcha Can’t Eat Just One”. When you see this fabric up close BETCHA YA CAN’T BUY JUST ONE YARD!!! To my quilting and sewing friends, you know what I mean. Richele, you know I am a huge fan of yours from the beginning of my Tim Holtz days. The vests are so cool! And that Paula….what is there to say but “carry on!”
Tim, you got the eye of a Michelangelo, a touch of Pollock, with a little Picasso thrown in with the surprise element of Basquiat. Love the new collection.

  11. Jocelyn says:

Love the vests! I just had a quilt finished where I had to use non TH fabrics for the solids. Darn… these distressed colors would have worked so much better. I love my quilt never the less. Hope to see these in the stores. JoAnn’s is already discontinue the previous lines.. sad.

Tim, Mario and Richelle, great job on the booth and many many thanks for all you do for the craft/hobby industry to keep us happy and trying new things.

Grunge solids!! These are so needed! They’re the missing element in crossing my distress aesthetic from paper over to fabric.

  33. Tona says:

Your booth was fantastic, as always!
I planned to sew some valances for my great room windows this winter. After seeing your samples, sage looks perfect for what I had in mind. Guess I’m going to have to wait until spring now since it’s not shipping until April. Oh well, it will be worth the wait to have the perfect material

  34. Carol Prygo says:

Love them all, especially the mauve looking swatch at the bottom right of the booth photo. I can see that as valances in my sunroom!
