“Eclectic Elements” fabric…

fabricwe are getting packed up today to head up to portland, oregon tomorrow morning to help set up the coats booth to debut my new eclectic elements fabric line with coats at the international quilt market.  thank you all so much for the kind words you’ve been posting, i am so excited for this next part of the creative journey.  my studio now has piles of fabric that coordinates with my idea-ology papers, embellishments, the palette of distress inks and paints, i could go on and on, but i just love how everything looks together…

fabrics

there have been lots of questions about how the fabrics will be sold, when they are available, and more importantly where.  the fabrics will be shipping in late summer/early fall and sold through select chain and independent retailers who choose to carry them (check with your local retailer).  eclectic elements will be available by the yard, in fabric bundles of fat quarters, fat eighths, design rolls, charm packs, and for the paper craft & mixed media artists fabric craft packs sized 6″x6″ and 12″x12″.  it’s so cool that there’s something for everyone.  we will be sharing our adventures at quilt market on facebook, twitter, and instagram so be sure to follow the fun – i can’t wait…t!m

I enjoy sewing unique casual shirts for my newly-retired husband. Your Eclectic Elements line is perfect for him. He is tall and broad shouldered so the larger patterns really stand out. And the fabrics are so soft and comfortable, yet they hold their shape. Thank you for making my husband look so good!

THIS is the fabric I have been look for for years! As a fashion teacher, not all my student like fru-fru, and while there is nothing wrong with fru-fru, this is going to really resonate with a large demographic of my students!!

I bought some electric elements fabric at the Road to California quilt show this year and I love it! I’m a librarian, and I was wondering if you’ve ever thought designing fabric with “library” things like old card catalog cards, stamps (date due, discard), check-out cards, drawings of old Carnegie libraries and of course, old books. That would be so cool! And many of us librarians are quilters, too.

Love the designs, but the quality of the fabric is dismal! I bought two yards at Joann’s for !4.99/yd, they shrank about 15-20%, the fabric is thin, very poor quality! Too bad. I love the design.
