cha2014: tonic studios…

tonicsneak
today is a rather quick, but exciting sneak peek.  back in 2006 i teamed up with an innovative cutting tool company – tonic studios.  our initial launch included some very innovative tools including “red handled” micro snips (that have proven to be one of the best scissors in the craft world), retractable tools: craft pick, craft knife, craft scratcher, and a cool paper distresser.  hard to believe it’s been 8 years yet there’s no doubt those tools are still my go-to must-have supplies, as they were back when they were released.  last year another innovative cutting company – purple cows, acquired tonic and has continued to collaborate with the original owners…

today i’m excited to announce the release of a product  that’s been over 3 years in the making – my new 9.5″ shears will debut at cha next week!  these are designed just like my popular “red handled” snips which include the same kush-grip handles and micro-serrated non-stick titanium blades that make them the ideal craft tool.  just like the snips, they cut cardstock, chipboard, grungeboard, craft wire and metals, ribbon, and or course fabric like a dream.  the best feature is the overall blade length and width has increased, so in addition to showing you the sneak peek, i’ve also posted a comparison photo of the original snips vs. the new shears.  good things are definitely worth waiting for…t!m
