hi bloggers… wow the excitement for the new releases just keeps building and i can’t believe that cha is just over a week away! thanks again for posting your kind comments about the new stuff. i hope to gather up more of the new products while we’re at the show to bring back for some giveaways here on the blog. today i’m excited to share some of the new releases for my sizzix alterations line. designing for each show with my friend e.l. at sizzix is always such fun as we continue to challenge sizzix with each new release – no doubt they came through once again with these new ones. so here we go with the first release shipping in february…
these new decorative strip dies offer such great detail. the new mini filmstrip and ticket strip are smaller versions of the originals so you get both designs on this one die. the stacked artful words are a mix of some of my favorite words and of course a connected line of numbers. the new “wanted” font has a classic lettering style with a vintage flair, the perfect combination…
this new on the edge die is definitely a new favorite of mine since it has both a torn paper edge and torn notebook edge. i have a feeling your chipboard and grungeboard edges will never be the same again…
no doubt when you see this next one it’s a blast from the past. oh yes, this picture wheel is so cool to use. whether it’s simply for the circular styling, or incorporating your index photos in each window, the uses for this die are endless. just wait until you see some of the ideas we have…
i’m excited about these basic movers & shapers base dies. this cameo is only the first in a series of designs that will allow you to combine and layer your other dies too. it’s simplistic style also has a crease rule border to provide added detail. i think it’s always important to continue designing products that will work with ones we already have – the more possibilities the better i think…
this set of ovals movers & shapers is the perfect fit for the cameo, but also functional with many of the earlier movers & shapers base dies. since they are steel rule dies they can cut openings through the thicker stuff and perfect for frames, and layers…
all i can say about this next one is you have to see it in action to really appreciate it’s function. i’m hoping a video on this new clipboard die will pop up around cha time so stay tuned…
you know i love texture fades and their ability to add instant texture to everything from cardstock , metal, chipboard, and grungeboard. these new designs are definitely some of the best yet as we continue to push the limits of detail – check these out…
this last one for today doesn’t need much explanation to my inspiration since my love for numbers once again prevails in this set of 10 texture trades (each folder embosses a 3″ number). i see so many uses for these from special dates, birthdays, you name it….
well i have lots more to share with you tomorrow as i continue with the rest of my sizzix alterations releases – hope you’re getting inspired…t!m
