1. dorothy mccarthy: OMG!
2. kathy/north carolina: Oh, my! You have been listening to my secret wishes. I cannot tell you how excited I am about every single item here. The paper stash is phenomenal…and I am ridiculously excited about the rub-ons and the aged book covers.
3. retta: Be still my heart!

now on to today’s sneak peek of the rest of the new idea-ology products being released at cha and shipping early spring.  first up is a new product that i cannot wait to show you the finished samples of.  since you know my fascination for all things steampunk, and how much i enjoy collaging inside the pocket watches, i was inspired to create a larger area to create in – introducing the assemblage clock.  this metal vintage-style alarm clock has a glass front and removable metal backing to create whatever you desire.  whether it’s incorporating photos and dimensional elements from a vacation, an important “time” in your life, or perhaps just for the art of it, this new alterable surface has huge possibilities…

i’m always talking about the journey and well, i think it’s a great way to go through life – it is a journey after all.  so i wanted to create some embellishments that can reflect the journey and  the new compass coins are raised metal elements just like the timepieces i released previously.  these also have holes in the center to add a game spinner to provide a little direction wherever it may lead…

okay another brace yourself moment.  this next product is so adorable, precious, ornamental, vintage, and the list of words to describe it can simply go on and on.  this locket book is styled after an original vintage treasure and opens up to reveal a tiny accordion book you can create on to capture your most cherished life moments…

measuring a mere 1″ x 1 1/2″ this locket book is so amazing that the catalog photo doesn’t so it justice – see for yourself…

if you like using vintage keys in your projects the new collage keys are going to be perfect.  each pack contains 2 of each size key along with fun collage stickers and epoxy stickers to layer your own custom creations…

many of the products in the idea-ology line are all about the ability to customize them to your style.  the new tag labels are great for hanging a vertical element on your project and come with a sheet of vintage-styled labels and epoxy stickers to say what you want.  the label clips are designed to clip right on to the edge of the configurations inserts and also have a label sheet and epoxy stickers to customize your configurations project with a dimensional and detailed accent…

i know many of your were excited about the new rubs i announced yesterday.  well these new enameled tags are the perfect surface for creating cool chippy looking embellishments.  resembling the plaquettes, but completely blank to design them how you wish…

wait a minute, did i just mention wish?  okay, there is always one product from every release that just makes me smile and this one is it.  yes, they are little resin wishbones – in fact a whole bottle of wishes (they come in this little bottle too).  you might be thinking what would you use those for?  well how about on a project for “best wishes”, “wish you were here”, or just “make a wish” – heck i would use the whole jar of them in a configurations…

this is another one of those products that i had to show you myself – sigh (insert smile here)…

make your mark with these neat stencil marks.  they are thin yet durable metal clips to side on to card, journal pages, and even photos to signify an age, date, or just for the number of it all – i do like numbers…

yes i like numbers so much that i even created a full set of alpha parts of numbers.  this set includes large 3″ numbers, numbers spelled out, and a second set with a new vintage signworks styled font.  just like the other styles of alpha parts, these adhesive back plastic elements can be cut from the matrix and simply altered with paint for a variety of looks to match every project…

if you’re looking for cool hardware to add function and dimension to your creations, these new findings are going to come in handy.  the new hinges have two different sizes of stylish working hinges complete with long fasteners.  next the new buckles are the smallest and completely workable buckles to use with ruler ribbon, grungepaper, and more…

another great fastener with versatile function are the new ring fasteners.  these are small fluted top fasteners with a jump ring through them.  these are great for hanging elements on your project or use them as little pulls for openings and pull outs on your projects…

if you like use little stickers and labels on your work, these latest sticker books will be so useful.  the new label letters are reminiscent of the vintage label makers without the hassle.  each sticker letter is individually cut and perfect for creating names, words, or any other sentiment.  also i’m excited to share that i’ve “updated” the vial labels i released a while back.  the new booklet contains much smaller labels for the corked vials and even oval labels – so versatile…

finally the last item in the idea-ology line being released at cha is actually an older product that was discontinued over a year ago.  quite honestly this is the first time we’ve ever brought back a discontinued product simply because the demand by all of you to bring it back was overwhelming.  seriously, i get emails daily (still) asking about hitch fasteners.  yes, they are by far the most functional little fastener ever so i guess they were just “before their time”, so hitch fastener lovers rejoice – they are back…

so what do you think of the new idea-ology stuff for 2013?  pretty exciting if you ask me, and like i mentioned yesterday, i just can’t wait until you see what we’ve been creating with all of it.  see you tomorrow for more product previews – next up sizzix alterations…t!m
