cha-winter 2013 recap… stampers anonymous

it’s friday bloggers!  late friday night i know, but hey it’s still friday for me.  wow, today just flew by with so many things to get caught up on before the weekend (which no doubt i’ll be working through too).  thanks again for sharing all of your comments about cha.  today is the final cha recap post and it’s all about stampers anonymous.  i truly love mr. & mrs. stampers anonymous (ted and michelle) and consider them part of my family – they are genuine and wonderful people to work with.  i can’t believe that i released 24 new stamp sets at this show, but it seems that as a stamper myself, one can never have too many stamps right?  of course the success of the blueprint stamp series that i collaborated with the talented mario III on who draws all of those awesome blueprints.  i even brought his original sketches to the show to display in the booth (yes, these are the actual large drawings i start with and manipulate in photoshop to create the finished stamp version)…

next up are many of the incredible samples from some amazing designers.  i love the versatility of their style for each of these cards they created, let’s check them out:

(chelle fowler) is a coloring guru.  i love how she uses distress markers, stains, and inks to create amazingly colorful yet vintage cards… (birthday mini, birthday chalkboard, globe, sewing, and pocketwatch cards done by chelle)

(richele christensen) has a great way to incorporate these images with lots of idea-ology goodness and i love that.  check out all of the layers and details she adds to her cards… (tag collage, camera, game wheel, and sewing cards done by richele)

of course there were so many other talented designers who created masterpiece cards for the stampers anonymous booth, check them out below…

(joy kennedy) created these great cards combining background textures, layered images, and a style that makes these cards picture perfect… (birthday, time cards done by joy)

(mou saha) once again added her splash of color with these cards she created using a colorful distress ink background layered with the blueprint image – awesome… (compass, sewing cards done by mou)

now when it comes to quality as well as quantity there is simply no holding back (may flaum).  once she taps into her creative mojo she is a artistic force.  here is a snapshot of the 11 cards she created for the booth… (all cards shown done by may)

i also had the opportunity to team up with another talented designer brett weldele who drew this steampunk-style time travelers set.  i met brett via twitter as he was posting the most incredible videos creating his art with distress inks, stains, and markers like this one – check out brett’s website to see more videos…

so that about wraps it up for my recap of cha 2013.  it was a wonderful show, a busy show for me, and always full of creative inspiration.  i thought the best way to finish these recap posts would be to do another giveaway.  and what better prizes to give, then some of the new stampers anonymous stamp sets?  mario managed to get his hands on quite a few sets so we’re going to give them away to some of you lucky bloggers!  for your chance to win, just post a comment on the blog and tell us your favorite stamp set (or stamp sets) from this new release.  all winners will be randomly selected and posted on monday.  have a great weekend everyone and thanks again for sharing in the fun…t!m
