cha-winter 2012…idea-ology (part 3)

Ideaology3
can't believe it's friday already bloggers and today is the final preview of my new idea-ology releases.  there is just so much inspiration around here as we continue to get ready for the upcoming cha.  i really love the frenzy show time creates for this industry!

…speaking of frenzy, i've been waiting for the packaging sample of this NEW-NEW product line i'm releasing at cha (i mean i'm over the top EXCITED about it).  it just arrived so i will be filming a video today to post and share the details with you tomorrow right here on the blog…

today, let's get right to the new idea-ology shipping in march…t!m

okay let's just say i've saved the best for last in the idea-ology previews just you wait and see.  starting off with these cool little "clock keys" which are designed from real vintage keys (they also remind me of old wind up toys).  the best part of these small keys is that each one has a screw in the base like the curio knobs to easily secure them to your projects without a drop of glue!  next up, so excited, beyond happy for these, i mean seriously…"mini gears"!  if you love the original sprocket gears you will go crazy for these little guys – sized at a mere 1/2" to 3/4" with little holes to secure them with mini fasteners, they can be layered with the larger gears or interlocked together…

keep the love for minis going with the new "mini numerals".  there is no doubt that since their initial launch in idea-ology i really have a thing for numbers and while i like the numerals, these mini ones are just so fun.  sized at just 1" and can be altered in so many ways – of course if you still want holes in them, just use your drill punch.  then what about these new "faucet knobs" ?  i mean have you ever seen anything with so much vintage goodness?  these knobs also have a screw in the base to attach them to book covers, configurations, and more.  their oxidized finish is also new to idea-ology which will allow paints to easily adhere to them (yes, even distress crackle paint!) to create that cool look of old gardening hardware…
Pg4

next up are these great new "box corners".  these are actually full box corners that attach using included long fasteners for canvas, boxes, and frames.  then we have these new "pulley wheels" and yes, they work and roll.  just you wait until you see what we've made with these – seriously one of the best steampunk, industrial embellishments i've ever done.  these too are also made with this new oxidized finish so they can become any color you can imagine…
Pg5

let the games begin with this deck of mini "alpha cards".  there are 72 little coated playing cards in their own little box complete with multiple letters and numbers to spell it all out on your next project…
Pg8

of course there had to be some "tissue tape" to go with destinations right?  this new pack has a cool gear design and subway signage design tapes to add just the right look for the journey…
Pg12

finally i've already shared this new storage pieces the "paper valise" in my storage video which is perfect for storing papers, stickers, masks, and your favorite ephemera.  complete with a removable divider, this functional case is perfect for home use or that crafter on the go…
