cha-summer product preview… ranger metallic distress stains

alright bloggers, i can’t believe it – my final product preview for cha summer!  i appreciate all of the comments throughout the last couple of weeks of previews and sharing in the fun of seeing all of the new products coming out.  i look forward to sharing ideas and projects made using all of the new stuff next week during cha.  today, i’m really happy to announce my new release for this show from ranger – metallic distress stains and more rock candy distress stickles.  the new distress stains are simply incredible since not only are the metallic finishes so luminous, but the formulation of a semi-translucent metallic is amazing.  these can be used on all of the surfaces you would use distress stains on including paper, fabric, and wood.  they can also be used with the other translucent colors of distress stains for a layered effect.  i think my favorite part of using these new metallic stains is the fact that in true distress style, they react with water so the blends and mottled effects are so cool.  can’t wait to share a technique video on them.  also we now have clear rock candy distress stickles in a few new ways.  first up, distress stickles in a jar to easily apply to larger areas and project with the built in brush, so convenient.  second, new distress stickles dry glitter with it’s random particle sizes and shimmery clear finish, this is so great to use over anything you want to add a bit of rock candy sparkle to.   now today it’s time to finish things up around the studio and get packed – we leave in the morning for chicago…tick-tock…t!m
